MARK MONEYMAKER
Commercial Superintendent
Mark was born in Greenacres, Florida, and was raised in Palm Beach County. From a very young age until his early twenties, he traveled the world as an award-winning kickboxer. Unfortunately, due to injuries, he changed over to his second area of expertise. From the age of nine, Mark learned the plastering and stucco trade from his father, Glenn. The disciplines instilled in him during his formative years have provided him with a high level of accuracy and precision in all his endeavors. Throughout his career, Mark has mastered various aspects of commercial and residential construction through a hands-on approach. He relocated to Ocala in the early 1990s and worked as a superintendent, managing numerous multi-family residences and high-rise building projects.
In the early 2000s, Mark established his own stucco company, specializing in commercial and high-end residential buildings. By 2010, he expanded his entrepreneurial ventures and branched out into multiple phases of commercial and residential construction and remodeling. Mark has known the Bennett family for many years, and for the past eight years, he has had the opportunity to work as a subcontractor for Benmar Construction. He was recently contemplating semi-retirement when he was offered his current position with Benmar. He now eagerly anticipates contributing to the future growth of Benmar.
Mark has three daughters and seven grandchildren. He and his fiancée, Amy, reside in a new home he recently built just north of town. He enjoys spending his leisure time fishing, relaxing on his tractor, and cherishing moments watching his grandchildren grow up. When the opportunity arises, he enjoys traveling to Western Kentucky to visit his family.
